Contract

Processing may be necessary to provide a service you have booked or to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement.

Legal obligation

Processing may be required to meet accounting, taxation or other statutory obligations.

Legitimate interests

Processing may be reasonably necessary to administer the business, respond to relevant enquiries, maintain professional relationships or protect Human Symmetry’s legitimate business interests.

Consent

Where consent is the appropriate basis for a particular activity, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

06

Health and movement information

During work with Human Symmetry, you may voluntarily provide information concerning pain, injuries, health conditions, medication, physical restrictions or medical history.

Human Symmetry will only seek or retain this information where it is reasonably relevant to understanding your circumstances or providing the service.

Where Human Symmetry relies on explicit consent to process health-related information, the consent will be obtained separately and clearly.

I explicitly consent to Human Symmetry processing the health, injury, pain, mobility and movement information I choose to provide for the purpose of understanding my circumstances and providing Human Symmetry services to me.

Human Symmetry does not use clients’ health information for unrelated marketing or advertising.

07

Individual clients

Human Symmetry may retain information necessary to manage the ongoing working relationship, including appointment history, relevant session information, correspondence, payment records and relevant movement or health information.

Corporate and workplace participants

Where Human Symmetry is engaged by an employer or organisation, information may be processed for the purpose of organising and delivering the engagement.

Information privately shared with Darryl concerning an individual’s health, physical condition or personal circumstances will not ordinarily be disclosed to their employer or commissioning organisation without an appropriate lawful basis.

09

Website contact forms

The Human Symmetry website uses WordPress and Contact Form 7 to receive general enquiries.

Information entered into a website form is used to receive, understand and respond to your enquiry.

Submitting a website enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.

10

HubSpot CRM

Human Symmetry uses HubSpot as its customer relationship management system.

Relevant enquiries, client or business contact information and relationship information may therefore be stored in HubSpot.

Human Symmetry may also occasionally use HubSpot forms for registrations for webinars, events or other Human Symmetry activities.

HubSpot is not currently used by Human Symmetry for general website visitor tracking.

11

Webinar and event registrations

When you complete an event or webinar registration form, Human Symmetry may collect information such as your name, email address, organisation and other details relevant to the event.

The information may be used to manage registration, send joining details, communicate about the event, provide relevant event follow-up and manage any subsequent relationship arising from your participation.

Registering for an event does not automatically subscribe you to general Human Symmetry marketing.

12

Google Meet and online sessions

Human Symmetry may use Google Meet for online conversations and sessions.

Information necessary to provide the meeting may be processed through Google’s systems, including names, email addresses and audio or video transmitted during the meeting.

Human Symmetry does not routinely record online client sessions.

If a session is proposed for recording, participants will be informed beforehand and any necessary permission or other lawful basis will be addressed before recording.

13

Marketing communications

Human Symmetry may communicate about its services where permitted by law.

Where consent is required, Human Symmetry will ask for it separately.

You may unsubscribe from or object to direct marketing at any time by contacting info@humansymmetry.co.

14

Cookies and website technologies

The Human Symmetry website may use cookies and similar technologies.

Strictly necessary technologies may be used where the applicable legal exemption permits them.

Non-essential cookies or technologies, including analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking technologies, should not be activated until any legally required consent has been obtained.

Visitors should be able to reject or manage non-essential cookies and subsequently change their preferences.

15

Technology and service providers

Human Symmetry does not sell personal information.

Human Symmetry currently uses:

  • Bluehost — website hosting and infrastructure.
  • WordPress — website content-management platform.
  • Contact Form 7 — general website enquiry forms.
  • HubSpot — CRM and occasional event or webinar registration forms.

Human Symmetry may also use accountants, insurers, payment providers, IT providers, legal advisers and other professional service providers where reasonably necessary.

16

International transfers

Some technology providers used by Human Symmetry operate internationally and may process personal information outside Ireland or the European Economic Area.

Where GDPR requires safeguards for an international transfer, Human Symmetry will seek to rely on an appropriate legal transfer mechanism.

17

How long we keep information

Human Symmetry will not retain identifiable personal information longer than reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it is held.

Retention may depend on:

  • the nature of the client relationship;
  • whether the information remains relevant;
  • the sensitivity of the information;
  • insurance requirements;
  • potential legal claims;
  • tax and accounting obligations; and
  • other legal requirements.

Health information will be reviewed particularly carefully and retained only where there remains an appropriate purpose.

18

Protecting personal information

Human Symmetry takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, misuse, loss or disclosure.

Where Human Symmetry agrees to work with somebody under 18, appropriate arrangements concerning parental or guardian involvement, consent and data protection will be considered according to the circumstances.

22

Photographs, testimonials and case studies

Receiving a Human Symmetry service does not automatically give Human Symmetry permission to publish your photograph, recording, testimonial or personal story.

Appropriate separate permission will be sought where Human Symmetry wishes to use identifiable client material publicly or for marketing.

23

Automated decision-making

Human Symmetry does not currently use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on clients.

24

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Human Symmetry may update this Privacy Policy if its services, suppliers, technologies or legal obligations change.

The most recent version will be published on the website with an updated date.
